DCYC 2011

Whaddap everyone, I'm back from DCYC 2011! (Diocean Chinese Youth Camp) 

After staying at church for 4 days 3 nights, I'm finally home! ;) But i already miss the camp the moment i step into my home. please note that i'm not joking. 

No doubt, I'm here to update you guys about how was the camp, and what we did inside. Unforgettable Moment! So to make everything simple and short,

DCYC DAY 1

Arrived venue (All Saints Cathedral) at 12 something at noon. Registered, checked my room, settled down my trunk and stuffs. Then find ma buds and chit chatting around. After dinner was the Opening Ceremony, which was awesome. Watching 'em singing and dancing is so nice :D and yeah after that, we get into group to have some discussion. Lastly, zzZ Sleep! 

DCYC DAY 2

Woke up at 5 something, i didn't sleep much that night. & everyone's alarm's ringing and making sound so i just wake up already. We took le group photo with 800++ people in it. BIG NUMBER? Fyi, this camp involved members from Sandakan Tawau Labuan Keningau and of course, KK. So it's pretty awesome to have so many youths gathering having a camp :D Well you can see how the Group Photo turned out in the video! :D It's definitely there. Okay now imma just pick the important event and update here. Uhm we did hear a lot of talk by raven & pastor. Learnt a lot.

Fun Part- GAME TIME! There's many Zones around our church. Each Zone have different kind of games, and by playing games and winning it, you can gain points for your group. But there's time limit. You can only enter each Zone for 30 minutes, after that, no coming back.  

Well i hope i explain the rules of the games well. Hope you can understand it! But unfortunately, it rained that day. So we ended up just having two zones to play. Prayer Zone & another Zone at the field. Played Tug Of War & So many other stuffs. We won tug of war which feels, SO GREAT! everyone was jumping and cheering hahahaha. and when i got to my room i felt the pain in my hand muscle, until now. omg much. But it was kinda worth it though. 


Service at night, kinda good. and Raven talk, lesson learnt. Prayer, closer to God :) 

DCYC DAY 3 

{can be considered as the last day}

Activities are kinda same with Day 2! But more fun cuz no rain! rain free! So we're kinda free to go every zone we want. Had some fun playing cooking, Jia Yee is the #beast, she knows how to cook and it was really nice! :D And next, we played the game where you need to take off your shoes and compete with other group. Game master will take your shoes and mix all of 'em together so you need to put on your shoes as fast as you can, the fastest wins. WE WON. fyi the ground was hot like an oven and we need to stand on it with bare feet wtf. I bet i was like a monkey kept jumping. Anyway, it was fun & if you're smart, you can spot that game in the video. My shoes's in it!! :D :D :D so proud. hahahahaha. 

During dinner we took so many photos with friends, Samantha, her sis, Michelle, Wei Lun everyone. [le keningau gang] so happy to meet them though. Cute friends! They're sooo nice, and i swear i'm perfectly honest right now. 

After going to bath and dinner, It was the closing ceremony. And i can honestly tell you, IT WAS THE HIGHEST DAY EVER! We literally run to the front in front of the stage and sing and dance and jump like crazy. I have super awesome friends! <3 It was sooo high, so happy, so released. Thank you God! Feels so blessed. 

DCYC DAY 4

{official last day}

We have daily devotion as usual in the morning. And then have this special breakfast - BURGER! Awesome! Played camwhore again during breakfast. Then headed back to room to pack everything. Waited for my car to come. Bid goodbye to all my friends. I'm missing them right now. I'm missing the camp right now. So many good memories. Thank you everyone who makes this camp unforgettable! :D love you guys. Thank you Jia Yee, My group leader, for leading us all this while. Thank you, Scarlett Dorathy Crystal Rachel Jia Hui  Su Jun Wei Lun and all le new friends ;D 

TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE, 

Come to this camp next year! you must! Foods are good, Service is awesome, Room is comfortable, except the toilet bathing time part, which always got me speechless cuz we had no water supply on the second day. the hell. But it was all okay after that. And new friends! Games are fuuunnnnnn & most importantly, to know God more!
